Fresh cultures are newly made and/or in the first stages of development. These cultures will be ready to harvest between 10-21 days after delivery, depending on temperature & conditions.

Mature cultures have adult flies visible and are ready to feed. If you wish to keep the culture going for a second cycle or more, we suggest waiting until maggots are visible in the media before removing adults for feeding. 

Note: Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive parcels containing live creatures. We cannot be held responsible for the loss of any livestock where a delivery delay has been caused through no fault of our courier.
