Jumping Spider Phidippus Regius - Florida - Spencer (aka The Chonk) - Unsexed - i6

Meet Spencer, otherwise known as The Chonk (on account of his ability to carry around three fruit flies at once) one of our Phidippus regius jumping spiders from our third generation Florida line. He is currently at around i6 and feeding confidently on large Drosophila hydei  fruit flies. Spencer left the egg sac in late October and his parents are Ethel and Webster. 

At this stage, Spencer is not yet sexed, but is showing traits that suggest they may be male. As with all unsexed juveniles, this cannot be guaranteed until further moults.
